Protect our Paths' Partners
Protect our Paths is a concept that many people can relate to and believe in. For this reason, we have partnered with multiple brands in hope of spreading the Protect our Paths message. It has been our goal to turn an idea into a campaign and a campaign into a movement.
It's as simple as picking up 1 piece of litter.
World Surf League
J-Bay Corona Fest
Together, Sealand and Protect our Paths sponsored the WSL Jeffereys Bay Open. This event was a huge success for Sealand as a brand but it was just as powerful for Protect our Paths.
The beach clean-ups were fun and very engaging, the Protect our Paths giveaways around the event space stood out, but most importantly of all, the Sealand Airs 4 Good show was phenomenal. This air competition raised awareness around a local community project known as The Recycling Project, as well as 200 give bags that were donated.
Sentinel Ocean Alliance
Sentinel Ocean Alliance provides a safe space to create and implement multi-faceted youth development programmes and environmental initiatives. The aim is to address real challenges facing the youth of previously disadvantaged coastal communities. Support is given by enabling future responsible leaders to become ocean activists and make meaningful contributions to South African society.
Wild Child Africa
The Pondo Trail
Wild Child Africa specialise in fully-catered walking trails along the beautiful Eastern Cape coastline. They created the Pondo Trail™, which consists of an ULTRA and a 3 DAY STAGE trail run format.
This unique coastline is too fragile to sustain high density tourism. Therefore, the Pondo Trail™ is an exclusive, high-end product with a low environmental impact that strives to educate the fortunate few who grace its shores. May they experience its inner beauty and endeavour to preserve its future.
Sky Run Series
The Skyrunning Series is based on European-style mountain running, where technical trails, big mountains and fast descents into villages below are the order of the day.
With the series taking place in winter, there is the possibility of snowy peaks on bluebird days or a good old-fashioned Cape storm. The races are short and sharp, and the experiences are infinitely bound to the authentic mountain trail.
