Every tip, every action, every person makes a difference.
Join us at a clean-up, support a custodian directly, or carry the movement with you on the trail. Here’s every way to be part of Protect our Paths.
Upcoming events
Clean-ups, trail runs and community days where you can get stuck in alongside our custodians. See everything we’ve run before on the Environmental Initiatives page.
Deli2Sea 2026
After a two-year hiatus, Deli2Sea is back — a 15.5km awareness and fundraising run from Chardonnay Deli Constantia to Chardonnay Deli Kalk Bay. Created with Sealand and Chardonnay Deli in support of Protect our Paths and Guardians of the Deep, it brings together trail runners, ocean lovers and local businesses to raise funds for mountain, coastal and marine conservation. And remember: it’s not a race, it’s a movement.

Your donation goes directly to the custodians who keep our beaches, forests and trailheads clean — funding equipment, uniforms, training and support on the ground. Every contribution, big or small, keeps someone out there doing the work.
Protect Our Paths Foundation is a registered NPC and PBO. Donations are processed securely.
Carry the movement with you.
Our first product collection is small but meaningful — simple, practical pieces designed to move with you through our natural playgrounds, and to make picking up one piece of litter that little bit easier. Every piece is sold through Sealand, and every sale puts more support behind our custodians.
The POP Trail Mate
A small, upcycled and handmade pouch built for the outdoors. It clips onto a backpack or belt loop so that when you’re out exploring, you’ve got somewhere to collect litter instead of walking past it. Handmade in Cape Town from upcycled kite material — durable, washable, and giving old materials a second life.
- Your go-to snack bag on adventures
- A small gear pouch for everyday essentials
- A sidekick for beach dips — wet gear, post-adventure socks
- A wax bag
The POP Tee
Featuring a design inspired by Sealand’s Mutant Fish artwork, drawing attention to microplastic pollution in our oceans. Microplastics have already been found in over 890 species of fish worldwide — and at the current rate, by 2050 there will be more plastic in the ocean than fish. A stark reminder of why Protect our Paths exists in the first place.
- Organic cotton
- Responsible manufacturing
- High-quality construction
- Comfortable and built to last
It’s as simple as picking up one piece of litter.
